This
board features a 16KBIT EEPROM save chip, the same as what DK64 uses, amongst
others. It also has a the Mario-type CIC chip, which means its a good bootcart
for backup unit owners. |

One
of the required carts of any backup user that wishes to save those rare 16Kbit
eeprom games, it's one of the two unprotected 16Kbit eeprom carts. As you can
see, there is a disadantage to buying a cart used from Blockbuster ($14.95), and
it was also missing the manual. But it's still much more affordable than Ridge
Racer 64. Might be worth the extra $15 to just buy it new though, oh well ;) |
